Pike County Commissioner’s kicked off the month by granting a resolution,
proclaiming April was Autism Acceptance Month in Pike County.
Local Restaurateurs and Bars joined in the festivities with Pike Autism
Support Services for their annual “Knock it Back Blue” Campaign.
Participating establishments sold t-shirts with the logo and offered a blue
drink with a portion of the proceeds going back to PASS to support their
programs and services. PASS has been serving Pike County families living
with ASD for over twenty years. PASS would like to thank the following
businesses for their support and participation, Two Rivers Grill, The
Apple Grill, The Erie Bar & Hotel, Balches, Jive, The Dimick Inn, Apple
Valley & Failte’s Irish Pub.

Autism Awareness Month

April was Autism Acceptance Month , Pike Autism Support Services held their
first Annual Designer Handbag Bingo & Raffle at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall.
It was a fun-raiser to support the Local Autism Support Organization which
has been supporting families with a loved one with an Autism diagnosis for
over 20 years. It was a fun evening with great prizes and a successful
event for PASS. PASS provides parent support, trainings, scholarships,
social and recreational opportunities and I-pads for non-verbal learners.

Pike Autism Support Services of NEPA. ( P.A.S.S.)  hosted their  Annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa on Sat. Dec. 10 th at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall. This event is specifically for Children with Special needs and their families. Santa met with over 150 guests & volunteers to hear what was on their list.

P.A.S.S. would like to thank all the volunteers and St. Patrick’s Church for their continued support!
